Though, it’s super suspicious. He was already the most powerful magical person in magic-land. Why did he want that magic wand? What could that magic wand do for him that he couldn’t do already? And why did he suddenly want it directly following Skin Deep?

So yeah I don’t know the likelihood of it being about Belle, but the timing is suspicious and why he would even want it to begin with is suspicious. And the more I watch the show, the more I think everything they included is important.

Side note: THIS LINE IS SO SAD IN RETROSPECT: “Bring him back? Oh, no, that’s out of the question. He’s dead. Magic can do much, but not that.”
